The Kono District, Jaimia Ahia-Mass Medical Clinic closed during the Ebola Epidemic in 2014.  IPSD reopened the clinic in March 2021.  Since the reopening, we’ve treated an average of 37 patients per day.

Treatment has ranged from diabetes to malaria to dental hygiene; with the bulk of the cases (84%) being Typhoid Fever.

The clinic provides healthcare from infants to seniors.  Up to now, all medications have been self-funded by IPSD.

Treatments are performed by our volunteer physicians at no cost to the patients.
